At Botany Bay Herbs after extensive research comes up with a combination of multi herbs which address Tridoshas concept of Vata, Pitta and Kapha. If we see cough it is derangement of Kaph i.e. liquid secretions from inflamed mucus membranes. Now if cough (cold Element) is increased Pitta must be decreased first to develop kaph. So Pitta has to be stimulated. The hidden element Vata has also to be deranged first because in Ayurveda it is said that Pitta pangu kaph pangu pungo mal dhatu Vayuna yatra niyanta tatra i.e. Pitta and cough do not produce disease until vayu is affected.
